DLR is Van Halen. Sammy was a decent replacement but nothing compares to VH with Diamond Dave

Stumbled onto this Dave vs Sammy clip. Sounds the same as it did over 25 years ago. And nothing at all has changed, it’s exactly as it was years & years & years & years & years ago. I think these 2 need to do something different, ….like maybe star in a movie together in a remake of “Grumpy Old Men”.

There was that brief moment after Howard Stern left terrestrial radio in - was it 2006? - where there was a search for the "next Howard." CBS picked ol' Diamond Dave, and shoved him out there that January after Howard left. His show lasted 4 months. It was THAT BAD. I mean, look at that weirdness in the clip alone, and apply that to hours of broadcasting. It was kind of like THE ROOM. Tommy Wiseau was deathly serious about that movie, and yet it was one of the most laughable films ever made. As was David Lee Roth's radio show. Just....bizarrely dreadful.
